have you been to vanguard? it's a delicious shop at roberton quay, 7 Rodyk Street, located inside angelus novus studio, and by delicious i mean it makes you want to linger inside and admire the beautiful bicycles they put together from old parts. there's a little section of books and magazines, the type you'd love to have on your bookshelf.





we were there last christmas when my office took a detour back from christmas lunch and we had sake and christmas snacks in the small cosy space.




have you seen the lovely people cycling around new york in photographs taken by the satorialist (above)? these bikes reacall that kind of romantic mood. each bike is personalised with names.
