i love you


this weekend was our one year wedding anniversary weekend. on on saturday night after we had dinner with his family as we walked pass the pool we decided that the deck chairs looked quite seductive to lie on so we sat the and gazed at the (really tiny and few stars) above and had a chit chat. just after midnight mingyao gave me a present - a beautiful leather mulberry wallet to replace my old one which was torn at the seams - and i was very touched because he remembered that i liked mulberry but i felt very bad because we both mentioned that we didn't have presents for each other this year and i did go in search of something but i couldn't find what i wanted and so i the next day after a pizza lunch we went to takashimaya and i made him walk around the household department so that he could choose anything he wanted. he couldn't find the beer mug he wanted so i took that as a rain cheque.

in the evening we had vietnamese beef noodles for dinner at siglap - our original intentions were to have a nicer meal but we were too full of rich food from the dinner the night before and the pizza lunch, so beef noodles was good and then we went home to chill before driving to the beach later in the night. we sat at restaurant one twenty six and had great conversation and a beer each after which we went to carls' junior next door to share a packet of french fries.




this afternoon we had tea - kueh kuek assortment from bengawan solo and a pot of chinese tea in teapot number two from muji.
