Setting Sun: Writings By Japanese Photographers
i was at booksactually the other day and i bought a book. i read a few paragraphs at the store and couldn't put it down. whilst i love looking at creative objects i also love to hear what creators have to say, how they write and how they think are fascinating to me.

i just had a eureka moment the other day. it was a thought. i was thinking that it is really a fortunate thing for one to be able to make choices. this was in response to another thought - that thought about work being difficult; long hours; the difficulty of design/multitasking etc. generally negative thoughts about work. how do i articulate this? the thought was, that, instead of focusing on these negative things, i should focus on this one positive thing - that it is actually a privilege to be able have the freedom to have opinions (aesthetic or otherwise), and to make decisions. if i were in a job where i didn't have this kind of freedom, i think i would die.
