so da jie got married today in church. we woke up in the morning and were all busy busy and mom did her hair which was wonderful. bouquet was tulips this time with some wildflowers and carnations for added softness. i think she looks nice in a cheongsam. we had the tea ceremony at my grandmother's place and mark's place and the food catered was really nice. i think grandmother's garden is a nice place for the crowd to spread and take photographs. mingyao and i dashed to church with the siblings for rehearsal and janie was quite good getting the chords to the mandarin song in that practice with help from joyce. i think the gown looked very nice on her, very appropriate, simple champange bands at the top and bottom. i was sitting at the side cos i was the mc with gabriel so we had to go up from the side but i crept in the corner of the church doors to peer at ee jie during the processional where hui sang the march in song beautifully. heh i think i nearly cried at some points cos i was quite happy for ee jie and also i think the air con where i was sitting was so cold and i don't know how it must have aggrevated the emotions. it was nice to see her surrounded by all her friends and it was funny that some of the acs boys were calling danny the photographer 'sir' including my brother cos he is the art teacher in acs i where ee jie taught GEP. the food at the reception after the service was nice but i think i need some tea to wash it down now at home.
well i think everybody was exhausted but glad at the end and mingyao and i went off cos we had to meet my bridal gown designer and when we were there we bumped into a friend from vj who was the designer's friend. and it was such a coincidence he was wearing his vj PE shirt.
