today mingyao came by my office and we crossed the road to central's basement where there was a decent chinese eatery and central mall was playing horrible ah beng techno music. we went to the japanese supermarket and there wasn't that special wafer-like biscuit i bought for my collegues last week anymore. we went upstairs to harvey norman - so small - to look at tvs and fridges - no fisher and paykel. and then he walked me back to my office.

it's a nice friday.
