weekend

yesterday i had a nice dinner with parents at sixth avenue - coffee shop western food - followed by ice cream at guthrie house.

and today, husband decided we should go to town and i bought a pair of brown suede and leather shoes to replace my faithful massimo dutti brown leather heels that has been faithful to me for the past three years. i'm going to try to prolong its life somehow. once in a while when we decide to go on these impromptu trips to town it's always nice and sweet, sharing a chin chow drink and a red bean japanese snack along the way. we tried tampopo for ramen and decided it was not bad. they put little crabs (live ones, for the special menu) in a glass bowl at the entrance to show you its tiny size. the crabs were red and translucent and blew bubbles. like babies.

then we came home and took some pictures with mingyao's new film camera because we were nicely dressed up for town. i went for a run after a long while...need to build up my stamina...
