whee - christmas is smashing!

+ JOH was smashing! Somehow although we didn't have many practices the whole atmosphere was lighthearted, happy and enthusiastic and i'm sure alot of hearts were warmed.

+ YM Camp was smashing. i've been inspired and renewed and was able to spend more time talking to the kids.

+ Topshop and Miss Selfridge have smashing things this season. alas, why so expensive? I spied - on the website - this frenchy cream loose sleeve top with french lace collar - looks like something from paul and joe - but i didn't see it in the shops and it is not cheap.

+ Muji at Paragon is smashing. I spy some great potential christmas gifts. I got a super notebook - muddy brown with a dark chocolate brown elastic strap and faint lines inside. alas, why so expensive?

+ Today sammie and i met with steven at sam at chinese swimming club - the competition poolside has been renovated and it looks smashing - really high double volume glass walls of the cafe facing the pool on one side and a timber deck with landscape on the other - facing out onto the surrounding katong landscape of trees and old buildings like the old chinese architecture of the club on one side.

+ There's this puny chinese eatery in international plaza next to shaw centre and we went there for lunch. they serve smashing simple chinese dishes like minced pork noodles and dumplings and stuff and the prices are reasonable.

+ we had moochi - lychee - in the car after that. smashing!
