over dinner this evening( fried hokkein mee from bedok camp) 'lullaby of birdland' played on tsf jazz over the squeezebox and the husband mentioned that it was his favourite songs to listen to when he was just starting to recognize jazz standards. in jc he used to dedicate songs to me over the jazz hour on 92.4fm. i asked him what songs he dedicated, because i had forgotten. he said he dedicated 'lullaby of birdland' to me. 'all the time', he said.
