sunday you're too short

in church these days we like to go to the sanctuary and sit by the side of the old building. i always like to look at the old brown brick walls and the stain glass windows with their wrought-iron window openers. and i always read the white marble plaques inserted in the brickwalls. people who came and died in the 1800s and some died very young like the organist who served at the church for six years and died at age 28.

i really love the way natural materials age - the white marble is no longer white it's grey, a hundred years old.

like the picture online. taken a few days ago from a website i can't rem which.

+ + +

husband, husband, i love you.
