it was a riot on friday, at ravi's house where we played taboo. classic was when someone mentioned 'what is risheng looking for now' and everyone cept alex lim shouted ' a girlfriend'.

hello. smartest me didn't save again and cad error-ed. hate hate hate cad (temporarily). how to be zen.i just need to be more efficient as a human being.

anyways that was just for catharsis. i'm pretty okay. tomorrow i am going to see mingyao and because i'm having a grumpy moment i would like to say that gives me the liberty of being mushy and praising my boyfriend - you're my sweet girl, he says.

perks me up great.

goodnight. tomorrow i need a run to purge the carnivorous friday dinner - actually i think it's more the grease i have to purge than the meat. but never mind cos i loved the grease while at it.

camping muji style is going to be awesome.

on friday mingyao took me out for dinner - just some quiet time alone for the two of us without talking about the house - japanese grill at robertson quay (we had lamb, pork cheek, wagyu beef, scallops, portobello mushrooms and kimchi soup and asahi beers) - cooked upon charcoal. we love grill. i contemplate visions in my mind of the two of us in our mini balcony having korean bbq matched with japanese rice cooked in the Zojirushi Rice Cooker under the light of a dynamo muji lamp Dynamo Lantern* sitting on white muji stools with some music in the background - what music goes with a bbq?

*woah...read the online description. i'm sold: This product is powered by dynamo, so there is no need for batteries. With x4 super bright LEDs. Built-in long life rechargeable batteries with foldaway generator handle to recharge batteries. Handle also useful for carrying and hanging. Just wind for one minute and this will give you up to 30 minutes of power. Its ideal and very handy for home, garden or camping

mingyao won tickets to a sun festival event: The UBS Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra with Gabor Takacs-Nagy & Frederica von Stade, which he originally wanted to go watch but was afraid it'd clash with my kl trip, but i'm not going kl next thursday and he won the tickets in the lucky draw so that's something to look foward to. date night.

some of my favourite current designers are john pawson, christian liaigre and Atelier Tekoto. i love the natural feel of materials. slate, bronze, rough concrete, weathered wood - all juxtaposed with luxe fabrics, modern glass and white walls.

why does the music sound better at night? the delimma of the night is that i love working at night, but i'm no longer a student so i can't wake up late the next day. i want a run tomorrow morning - want one bad. how much will power will i need to wake up automatically at six in the morning.

random: hand cream is key.

i remember da jie used to use rosewater scent/bath from crabtree and evelyn. when i opened a bottle to sniff, it conjured up the image of my sister sprawling in her bedroom with the window open - the green curtains with bamboo prints. and me with my legs up on the wall for an hour reading an enid blyton book upside down while she sits on her metal chair with matt black pvc seating, legs hung over the handles.

what smells do to/for you.

ash

picture koped from yvette because i left my camera in the car. on thursday we went to the ash gig as part of the beer festival - they sold only one type of beer at the field though, what the...i was looking foward to different beers. we bumped into yvette and shiv on the lawn right smack in the middle looking really comfy and we settled down on our spot pretty quick. didn't like that the opening local act took so long and kept putting themselves down in the things they were saying. plus it got really irritating cos it started to drizzle and we only wanted to listen to ash - this band was taking up precious minutes! - okay but when ash came on all the fans - people about our age or older - that was the cool part - were really happy and got up in anticipation. wasn't really familiar with the first few songs - truth is i only have the nuclear sounds and 1977 cd - but when they played those songs, it felt awesome really. from kung-fu fighting and goldfinger to angle interceptor. i'm going to pass mingyao the nuclear sounds cd tomorrow. ash is special because mingyao introduced them to me in jc and i started loving the songs.

i had great fun bobbing along with you, i could tell you had fun too.
