today's impromptu beer and snacks at rogues somehow became an uplanned engagement party - or was labelled as such. the company was brilliant and the food was great - mini burgers, salty bacon pizzas, fried chicken, lamb cutlets (i didn't try!), beef wraps and i met joyce who was in the same studio for me for a while back in year four and she was charlotte's good friend. we met at the outdoor area but when more people came we gravitated towards the cosy corner spot on the inside. faye brought along her sister - faye is so entertaining to have around. and i could see that mingyao was enjoying himself very much too so that was wonderful. except that i took afew photos of those present and i forgot to take a photo for us!

yesterday mingyao picked me up from the airport again :) and we had supper at macdonalds'.

this weekend has got to be a productive one. lots of personal and work stuff to do and get enough sleep too. sleep is one of the most desirable things around these days.
