i went to book actually's new shop today at ann siang hill. i love going to that shop because the people are so friendly and it's filled with awesome books and things and vintage cameras and such. they've taken over the cafe below front row. i took a pamphlet with jo dong on the cover advertising her concert at the esplanade recital hall. mingyao and i bought tickets to watch her. plus of course, we bought tickets to the ash concert in october.

today was a nice impropmtu way to end the week. i was walking towards the mrt station heading home when the fiance (fiance!) texted and asked if i were going home. the conversation led to him wanting to go siglap and me wanting to go siglap with him so i took the train to the east and he picked me up. we dropped the car at his house and then took a walk to siglap. the air was after-rain cool and we walked to blooie's where i had a fish and chips (cajun!) and we had a pint of beer each and we took a walk after that to peek at our new place from the outside before heading back to his house and then he fetched me home.

it is nice have the ee jie at home, someone to talk to when i come home from work. girly stuff.
